Job Description

Now Hiring for Warehouse Associates in Paulsboro, NJ This role supports a new distribution center by handling, organizing, and preparing products and parts for shipment. You ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and safely while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. You work closely with a team to keep operations running smoothly and to make sure customers receive the right products on time.
Shift/Pay:
Monday to Friday, 7/7:30am to 4/4:30pm $21/hr
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and accompanying documentation. Handle shipping and receiving tasks in line with established packaging standards and procedures. Pick, pack, and prepare product and parts for customer orders with a strong focus on accuracy and product care. Load and unload delivery trucks using proper lifting techniques and appropriate warehouse equipment. Perform general warehouse and material handling duties, including moving, staging, and organizing inventory. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment to prevent accidents and promote efficiency. Properly label, document, and process all outgoing shipments according to shipping procedures. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to help ensure stock accuracy. Follow all company safety protocols and procedures, including correct use of personal protective equipment and equipment operation. Report any safety hazards, damaged goods, or incidents to supervisors immediately.
Essential Skills:
2+ years of experience in warehouse operations. General labor and warehouse experience, including material handling and production support. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is preferred. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including packaging standards. Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse environments. Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift. Experience with packing, inventory, picking, and loading tasks. Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills to manage inventory effectively. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within a team setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paulsboro, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
