Warehouse & LTL Shipping Associate Tribeca Cabinetry/Contempo Saddle Brook, NJ Job Details Full-time $17 - $18 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Packing Palletization Assembly Straps Picking & packing Full Job Description Warehouse & LTL Shipping Associate Position Overview We are looking for a hands-on, dependable, and versatile Warehouse & LTL Shipping Associate to join our team. This position will be primarily responsible for preparing, assembling, and coordinating LTL shipments , while also supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse when LTL shipments are not the immediate priority. The ideal candidate is someone who can multitask, stay organized, work independently, and shift priorities quickly based on the needs of the operation. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying busy and can contribute across multiple areas of the warehouse. What We're Looking For Previous warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience preferred. Experience preparing LTL shipments is a strong plus. Ability to safely palletize, wrap, strap, and secure freight. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and understand packing slips, shipping documents, and work orders. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Dependable, punctual, and willing to take initiative. Able to work independently while also being a team player. Willingness to perform a variety of physical warehouse tasks. Forklift experience preferred. Ability to lift and move warehouse materials safely. Key Responsibilities LTL Shipping & Order Preparation Prepare and assemble products for LTL shipments. Properly palletize, wrap, strap, label, and secure shipments for transportation. Verify shipment quantities, dimensions, weights, and shipping information. Ensure products are packaged and protected appropriately to prevent damage during transit. Stage completed shipments in the designated shipping area. Assist with loading LTL shipments and coordinate with carriers and drivers. Inspect shipments for accuracy and completeness prior to pickup. Maintain an organized and efficient shipping area
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
