Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Associate to join our growing warehouse team. This position is responsible for receiving inbound shipments, unloading containers, verifying product accuracy, maintaining inventory integrity, and ensuring all products are properly labeled and stored. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Safely unload ocean containers and inbound freight shipments. Verify received products against packing lists, bills of lading, and purchase orders. Complete receiving paperwork accurately and enter receiving information into the warehouse management system. Print and apply pallet and product labels. Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures. Transport products to designated warehouse locations using a propane sit-down forklift and pallet jacks. Maintain accurate inventory through proper put-away procedures. Inspect incoming freight for damage and report discrepancies immediately. Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse by following general sanitation and housekeeping procedures. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines. Work with warehouse supervisors and other team members to meet daily productivity goals. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience operating a propane sit-down forklift (required). Previous warehouse receiving experience in a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment. Ability to safely unload floor-loaded shipping containers. Experience accurately verifying shipments against packing lists, bills of lading, and purchase orders. Ability to accurately complete receiving paperwork and use warehouse management software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable attendance with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout an 8-hour workday . Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.
