Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented 2nd shift Cherry Pickers to join our dynamic warehouse team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and preparing orders using specialized equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts. Your proactive approach will ensure accurate order fulfillment, safe handling of materials, and smooth warehouse operations. Responsibilities Operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment safely and efficiently to pick, load, and unload products. Accurately locate and select items using barcode scanning technology for logistics purposes. Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and updating warehouse management systems (WMS). Prepare orders for shipment by stacking pallets, wrapping loads, and ensuring proper labeling according to shipping standards. Follow warehouse safety protocols including OSHA guidelines and forklift safety standards during all equipment operation. Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, ensuring timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments. Maintain a clean, organized work environment by adhering to materials handling procedures and manual handling best practices. Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, or Hi-Lo machinery. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials with manual handling skills. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Familiarity with warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols. Strong attention to detail with excellent order picking accuracy.
