This position is responsible for safely operating a front-end loader to supply production lines with the correct materials and keep production running efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
Safely operate a front-end loader and other assigned equipment Load mulch, soil, bark, compost, and other materials into production hoppers Supply pallet production lines with the correct materials Follow production schedules and material-mixing instructions Move, organize, and maintain raw-material stockpiles Load and unload trucks, trailers, and other equipment as needed Inspect the loader before each shift and report maintenance or safety concerns Monitor materials for contamination, oversized pieces, or quality issues Keep loading areas, stockpiles, and production areas clean and organized Assist production and warehouse employees when needed Follow all company safety procedures and equipment-operating guidelines Complete daily equipment inspection forms and production paperwork as required
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous front-end loader or heavy-equipment experience preferred Ability to operate equipment safely in a busy production environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Basic knowledge of equipment inspections and routine maintenance Ability to work outdoors in dust, heat, cold, wind, and other weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with others Forklift experience is a plus We offer competitive pay, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team environment. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
