Temporary Operations Storage & Organization Assistant Amfabsteel Inc - 2.3 Bernalillo, NM Job Details Part-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Temporary Operations Storage & Organization Assistant Position Summary The Temporary Operations Storage & Organization Assistant is responsible for cleaning, organizing, and improving the efficiency of company storage areas and operational spaces. This role will assist with sorting materials, identifying obsolete items, organizing inventory, labeling storage locations, and maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, physically capable of performing manual labor, and comfortable working independently while following established organizational standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean and organize storage rooms, warehouses, supply areas, and operational storage spaces, etc. Identify obsolete, damaged, or unused items for disposal or management review. Label shelves, bins, racks, and storage locations. Create and maintain organized storage systems to improve accessibility and efficiency. Move, lift, and transport supplies and equipment as needed. Maintain housekeeping standards in all assigned work areas. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or facility concerns. Perform other organizational and operational support tasks as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, facilities, operations, maintenance, or organizational projects preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality when handling company materials and records. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb throughout the workday. Ability to work in warehouse, shop, storage, and office environments. Ability to safely operate basic material-handling equipment if authorized and trained. Working Conditions Work may be performed in indoor and outdoor environments. Exposure to dust, varying temperatures, and industrial settings. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
