Logistics & Warehouse Specialist Aboutthe Role:
We are looking for a highly energetic,result oriented, passionate, and hands-on Logistics Associate with a desire tojoin a growing team. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that thecompany has the proper amount of product required for the completion ofrespective projects. It is the incumbent's responsibility to ensure thatsuppliers meet the company's targets for quality, delivery, and total cost ofacquisition.What You'll Do:
Warehouse worker is responsible for completing shipments by processing and loading orders. Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area. Maintaining inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests. Maintaining quality service by following organization standards. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, and maintaining a clean shipping supply area. Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Completing reports by entering required information. Maintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications. Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Must be able to drive a box truck or company van and have a valid driver's license. Experience with Operating a forkliftWhat You'll Need:
Teamwork and coordination. Organization, planning, and time management. Reporting and documentation skills. Equipment maintenance skills. Data entry skills. Dependability and high-quality standards. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Preferred forklift certification or capability to complete forklift certification training; company safety can provide forklift certification training.PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS
Primarily walking, standing, and bending for extended periods with some sitting. Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, written, visual and listening skills. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required equipment as well as to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments. Able to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds.
