About us Pearson Ranch Elk & Bison Jerky sells to Bass Pro, Cabela's, Tractor Supply, Sportsman's Warehouse, Albertsons and many more companies nationwide. Get in on the ground floor of our expansion. We are looking for an experienced Order Picker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and packing orders for shipment, ensuring that all orders are picked and packed correctly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse setting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in a fast-paced environment. If you have handyman skills like painting, carpet laying or landscaping that will be a plus as we move. Key Responsibilities Order Picking — Locate, select, and retrieve products based on pick tickets, handheld scanners, or digital inventory systems. Packing & Shipping — Verify item accuracy, pack orders securely, apply labels, and stage shipments for carrier pickup. Inventory Control — Assist with cycle counts, stock rotation, replenishment, and reporting discrepancies. Quality Assurance — Inspect products for damage, confirm lot codes/expiration dates when applicable, and maintain packing standards. Warehouse Organization — Keep aisles, shelves, and workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines. Equipment Use — Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse tools safely. Team Support — Assist with inbound receiving, restocking, and general warehouse tasks as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications Basic computer or scanner proficiency Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to read pick tickets, SKU labels, and digital inventory screens Ability to lift 30-50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods Reliable attendance and punctuality Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Prior warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics experience Experience with inventory software (Fishbowl, NetSuite, or similar) Familiarity with pick‑to‑light or RF scanning systems Work Environment Warehouse setting with variable temperatures Frequent lifting, stacking, and movement Team‑oriented, production‑driven workflow Performance Expectations Maintain 99%+ picking accuracy Meet daily pick/pack productivity targets Follow all safety and quality procedures Communicate issues (inventory shortages, damaged goods, mislabels) promptly
