Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Shop/Yard Hand to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support warehouse and yard operations by handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your proactive approach will help ensure timely order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols. Duties Assist with warehouse distribution tasks including order picking, shipping, and receiving processes Operate forklift to load & unload materials safely and efficiently Manage inventory by organizing stock, conducting regular counts, and updating records to ensure accuracy Handle materials manually with proper manual handling techniques to promote safety and efficiency Support yard activities by loading and unloading trucks, securing loads, and maintaining a clean work area Collaborate with office staff to optimize warehouse operations and improve workflow Skills Experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, and inventory management Skilled in forklift operation Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks consistently Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in materials handling and stock management Join us to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills make a tangible impact!
