Temporary Job Summary A mining operation in Northern Nevada is seeking dependable Day Laborers for a temporary project supporting the cleaning and removal of sediment from a dry pond area. This project is expected to last approximately 2-3 months and will support site cleanup and environmental maintenance operations. Key Responsibilities Assist with dry pond sediment cleanup and removal Perform general labor tasks including shoveling, sweeping, and debris removal Support equipment operators and site crews as directed Move tools, materials, and supplies throughout the work area Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all applicable safety regulations and company policies Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Perform additional labor duties as assigned Work Schedule Option 1: Monday - Thursday | 10-hour shifts Option 2: Thursday - Sunday | 10-hour shifts Transportation is provided from Fernley and Fallon, Nevada to the work site. Qualifications OSHA 10 Certification required MSHA Certification required Ability to perform physical labor in an outdoor environment Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to follow instructions and work safely around equipment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Previous construction, mining, or general labor experience preferred but not required Work Conditions Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods Required PPE includes hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and safety boots Additional Information Equal Opportunity Employer Drug-free workplace
