Warehouse Supervisor Position Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse and distribution functions, including accurately labeling, consolidating, picking, packing, staging, loading, and unloading products. This role ensures inventory is handled safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and customer service. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accurately consolidate cartons, materials, and products from storage locations according to order requirements and productivity standards. Pick, pull, and stage cartons, boxes, and materials for shipment. Place products on pallets, in staging areas, or designated warehouse locations. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently. Verify inbound and outbound shipments against packing slips, shipping documents, and physical inventory counts. Inspect products for damages and report discrepancies immediately. Read, decode, and interpret product information, labels, and warehouse documentation to facilitate accurate order fulfillment. Match materials and documentation to customer orders and shipping requirements. Perform labeling, cleaning, housekeeping, and general warehouse maintenance duties. Participate in special projects and other warehouse-related tasks as assigned. Return supplies, equipment, and merchandise to designated locations after use. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout each shift. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations. Qualifications Required High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Basic mathematics skills. Ability to successfully pass a required background check. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred 2 to 4 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or material handling experience. Experience loading and unloading trailers and containers. Experience with inventory control, order picking, and shipping/receiving functions. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the workday. Ability to lift, carry, move, and place cartons and materials weighing up to 60 pounds . Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and rotational movements. Ability to move throughout the warehouse to access inventory, equipment, and work areas. Ability to communicate clearly and exchange accurate information with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
