The Material Handler I is responsible for supporting warehouse and distribution operations through picking, packing, sorting, and moving materials and products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity and quality standards.
- Pick, pack, and sort materials, products, and orders accurately.
- Move inventory and materials throughout the warehouse as needed.
- Verify items and quantities against work orders and packing lists.
- Prepare products for shipment according to established procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures.
- Assist with inventory control and material handling activities as assigned.
- Perform other duties as required to support warehouse operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8 to 10 hours per shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive reaching, extending, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with continuous loud noise levels.
- Ability to work at elevated heights when required.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials in accordance with company guidelines.
