Training is provided but the successful candidate must have fork truck driving experience Responsibilities Safely load and unload materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes. Pick and prepare orders accurately utilizing RF scanners and manual methods to meet shipping deadlines. Operate heavy equipment responsibly while adhering to OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols. Manage inventory levels by tracking materials with inventory management systems and conducting regular stock counts. Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy. Handle materials with care during manual handling tasks to prevent damage or injury. Assist in organizing warehouse space for optimal storage efficiency and accessibility. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures. Load and unload goods from trucks efficiently, ensuring proper placement for easy retrieval. Maintain detailed records of materials movement, equipment usage, and inventory status. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related roles within a warehouse setting. Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and materials handling. Familiarity with RF scanners, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and manual handling techniques. Understanding of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail. Good organizational skills with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems and documentation. #IND456
