Job Description

OVERVIEW
The Material Handler is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for following work orders and/or verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand and using tow motor. Records daily material handling metrics. Maintains the inventory of packing materials and finished paper. May assist with shipping or received as needed. All other duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCES 1-2
years in an industrial manufacturing environment required
Prior forklift or tow motor experience preferred
The ability to be certified is required
Proven ability to successfully meet customer and management deadlines
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); equivalent experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

) The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and the Ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
