Job Description

About the Role As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency of our logistics operations by safely operating heavy machinery and managing inventory. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of goods, utilizing your expertise in material handling equipment to support our high-volume distribution goals. Responsibilities Operate sit-down forklifts and clamp trucks to transport materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility. Execute material movement orders accurately to ensure timely fulfillment of production and shipping requirements. Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to maintain high levels of stock accuracy. Utilize RF barcode scanners and vehicle-mounted computer systems to track inventory and update digital records. Prepare products for shipment by stretch-wrapping, re-labeling, and hand-stacking goods as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including performing inventory consolidation and managing scrap materials. Support sustainability initiatives by assisting with recycling and material reclamation processes. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating industrial forklifts. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment. Strong basic mathematical skills for inventory and counting tasks. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards. Willingness to complete internal Lockout/Tag Out and forklift certification programs within 90 days. Preferred Skills Prior experience with push-pull attachment operations. Current, valid forklift operator certification. Familiarity with advanced warehouse management software or digital tracking systems.
