Material Handler - 1st Shift

POSITION TITLE

: Material Handler

DEPARTMENT

: Manufacturing

REPORTS TO

: Manager, Manufacturing

POSITION OBJECTIVE

: To ensure that compression operations are run on time and accurately by supporting all operational needs including material staging and product movement, equipment cleaning, and process support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with warehousing to identify and stage materials and product
• Support operations by obtaining and staging raw materials
• Support compression operations by staging blends for tablet pressing
• Preparing compression boxes for tablet collection
• Monitor progress and respond to process needs
• Complete all required documentation of activities
• Utilize forklifts for material movement
• Provide additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed by management
• Routinely lifts, carries and moves materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must work as part of a team.
