Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, reliable individual to join our warehouse and logistics department. This versatile role combines transportation scheduling with hands‑on warehouse coordination. No prior experience is required—we are fully prepared to train the right person—but candidates must be detail-oriented and comfortable balancing office logistics with a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving:
Oversee inbound and outbound inventory with accurate, organized documentation.
Freight Scheduling:
Coordinate LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) and dedicated truck shipments using online logistics platforms, carrier portals, and professional email correspondence.
Carrier & Broker Relations:
Communicate effectively with internal teams, freight carriers, and brokers to ensure on-time pick-ups and deliveries.
Tracking & System Management:
Utilize computer systems to book, track, and log shipments, proactively providing customers with tracking updates as needed.
Claims Management:
Document and file freight claims for damaged or delayed shipments. Qualifications & Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer proficiency (specific system and platform training will be provided). Highly organized, punctual, and detail‑oriented. Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A strong willingness to learn logistics software and carrier management platforms.
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
