$20.00
•$25.00/hour (Depending on experience) plus benefits Company Overview An established, industry-leading event, trade show, and retail fixture display company located in Glendale, Queens. Known for delivering high-end rental displays and full-service event support across the NYC metropolitan area, the company prides itself on a long-tenured team, exceptional service standards, and a supportive work environment. Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, customer-facing Warehouse & Event Setup Specialist to join a growing logistics team. The bulk of this role is based in the Glendale warehouse managing inventory, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining display equipment. Periodically, you will travel on-site to NYC event venues to assist with unloading, assembling, and setting up commercial displays in client-facing environments.
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations:
Unload incoming trucks, organize inventory, stage outgoing orders, and clean/inspect rental displays to ensure everything is in full working order.
On-Site Event Support:
Travel periodically to NYC venues to assist with the delivery, unloading, and hands-on setup/teardown of event fixtures and displays.
Quality & Maintenance:
Perform basic visual and mechanical checks on equipment, ensuring displays meet quality standards before dispatch.
Customer Representation:
Interact professionally with clients, event organizers, and venue staff while working on-site.
Qualifications & Requirements Work Ethic & Professionalism:
Dependable, punctual, and possesses a clean, professional demeanor suitable for customer-facing event sites.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry display equipment and inventory (up to 50 lbs comfortably). Skills (Pluses, Not Required): Prior warehouse experience, forklift certification, or general mechanical/handyman aptitude is a major plus.
Schedule Flexibility:
Comfortable working standard 8:00 AM
•4:30 PM warehouse hours with occasional travel to NYC event sites.
