Job Description

Position Purpose Under general supervision, prepares raw materials for upcoming molding jobs. Stocks and restocks molding machines with raw materials. Duties & responsibilities: From molding schedule sheets, obtain required materials from warehouse storage area for molding machines and dryers Place materials into hoppers or dryers, and keeps records on material use Remove excess materials from molding machines and place into grinders Bag and log excess materials and return to warehouse Clean work areas, vacuum, disassemble, blow out, and reassemble hoppers and dryers May assist with cycle-counting or other material warehouse duties
Requirements:
Ability to read schedule sheets and complete records and other paperwork in English Ability to perform basic mathematic calculations Basic computer skills needed, FourthShift experience preferred Ability to understand verbal instructions and interact with coworkers Ability to stand and walk on hard floor continually throughout the day Ability to frequently lift and carry materials 20 to 55 lbs. Occasional lifting of same weight above shoulder level Ability to frequently climb steps or short stepladders while carrying materials. Ability to follow instructions and procedures
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
The job involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, occasional fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, and moderate to loud noise levels. Physical activities include frequent standing, bending, walking, reaching, lifting (mostly under 50 lbs), grasping, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, crawling, and other movements, with some tasks requiring 60% or more of work time. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities. 6:00-2:30 pm plus occasional ovetime 7:00 am -3:30 pm plus occasional overtime
