0-38 Hours with the opportunity for additional hours over peak periods, including weekends. (Our operating hours are 9am - 5:30pm Monday - Saturday )

Salary:

$17 per hour We have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Receiving Assistant to join our Warehouse team in Long Island, NYC. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, customer-orientated environment. Your duties and responsibilities will include: Receiving, filing, and transferring orders to required standards. Requires the capability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day, which includes performing repetitive motions necessary for order receiving. Receiving & sorting deliveries from suppliers. Filing and accurately preparing stock. Stock control to maintain an accurate inventory. Maintaining a clean & organised work environment. The ideal candidate should be organised, hardworking, confident, trustworthy, diligent, and reliable, and should also possess the following skills and experience: Good attention to detail Ability to work quickly and to tight deadlines Ability to work well under pressure Some experience working in a similar role, preferably dealing with vinyl records Self motivated Experience with warehouse inventory systems, purchase orders, and packing lists Proficiency in Excel, inventory control systems The successful candidates may be required to work over the weekend when needed. A permanent position may become available for the successful applicant.
