Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver / General Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have several years experience driving heavy trucks and / or truck / trailer. Must be able to drive manual transmission. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Driver must have experience in north east weather Employees may be subject to drug testing consistent with New York State and federal law and Federal DOT law. Duties - When Driving Truck Operate single axle flat bed truck for various deliveries (26,000 GVWR) Assist customer with hand unloading product (occasionally) Keep logs of truck use and maintenance Occasionally help in millwork shop making wood products Duties - When Working in Millworkshop Stacking lumber as needed Operating a circular saw Putting together orders from list Packaging lumber skids for shipping Skills & Qualifications Valid NYS Class B CDL preferred, Class D accepted
