Contract-to-Hire Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Tester/Material Handler to join our production team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality through electronic testing while also supporting material handling and inventory accuracy. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the potential for long-term employment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Testing & Inspection:
Test and inspect electronic products and assemblies following established procedures. Document results and report any defects or non-conforming products.
Troubleshooting:
Identify product issues and follow established escalation procedures to resolve problems.
Material Handling:
Receive, move, store, and issue materials and finished goods. Pick, pack, and stage materials for production and shipment.
Inventory Management:
Maintain inventory accuracy through system transactions, material verification, and participation in cycle counts.
Safety & Organization:
Operate material-handling equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Team Support:
Support other production, testing, and material-handling activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer and data entry skills. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred:
Experience in electronics testing, manufacturing, or material handling.
Preferred:
