The primary purpose of this role is to ensure consistent material flow to and from production while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence in alignment with Amcor's values and employee experience expectations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Ensure safe handling, movement, and storage of materials and finished goods Maintain accurate inventory movement, palletizing, labeling, and scrap tracking Support production by ensuring supplies and materials are readily available Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and effectively Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment (5S) Adhere to all safety, GMP, HACCP, and quality standards Support team collaboration across warehouse, production, and maintenance Problem Solving & Challenges Managing competing priorities in a fast-paced production environment Maintaining accuracy while working with high volume material movement Identifying and resolving material flow disruptions to support production uptime Ensuring compliance with safety and food safety standards under time constraints Direction & Decision Making Works under general supervision with defined procedures and standard work instructions Expected to exercise independent judgment in day-to-day task execution Escalates safety, quality, or operational concerns to leadership as needed Qualifications Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required 1-2 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred Prior forklift experience required (Amcor certification provided after training period) Additional Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Basic understanding of inventory and material flow processes Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions and safety procedures Strong work ethic and dependability Flexibility to support production schedules and team needs Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors Strong commitment to safety-first mindset and compliance Knowledge of basic warehouse and material handling processes Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and product handling Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow standardized work instructions and procedures Demonstrates accountability, reliability, and ownership of responsibilities Supports a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative work environment Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Aligns with Amcor Leadership Framework principles (collaboration, results focus, accountability) Hourly Statement The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $19.50; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience between $19.50 and $22.50. $2.00 second and third shift differential available.
