Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth warehouse distribution processes. Your energy and attention to detail will help us meet order fulfillment deadlines, maintain accurate inventory control, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an engaging environment where your mechanical skills and warehouse experience will directly contribute to our success. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately. Perform stock stocking, picking & packing, shipping & receiving tasks to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Conduct inventory control activities such as cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy. Handle materials with care during manufacturing or construction-related projects, ensuring proper packaging and storage. Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards by following proper procedures for heavy lifting and mechanical operations. Assist in warehouse distribution activities by organizing products for order fulfillment and ensuring timely shipment dispatch. Experience Prior warehouse experience with a focus on inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping. Proven ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 platforms, RF scanners, and other inventory control tools. Experience in materials handling within manufacturing or construction environments is a plus. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues when needed. Previous supervisory experience as a warehouse supervisor is advantageous but not required; a proactive attitude towards teamwork is essential.
