In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, stocking, and managing inventory using material resource planning systems and heavy equipment. Your proactive approach will ensure accurate order fulfillment, safe operations, and optimal warehouse organization. Duties Safely operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Manage inventory control processes by accurately tracking stock levels using RF scanners and material resource planning systems. Perform stock replenishment, stocking, picking & packing orders, and order fulfillment tasks to ensure timely delivery to customers or manufacturing lines. Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments with proper packaging. Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate records and support warehouse distribution efficiency. Follow OSHA safety guidelines diligently during all operations, including heavy lifting, mechanical knowledge tasks, and materials handling procedures. Support warehouse team in maintaining organized storage areas and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in material resource planning systems (MRP) such as Syteline, NetSuite or similar platforms. Valid certification for operating heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or order pickers; experience with pallet jacks is preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques including inventory control, stock counting, and cycle counting procedures. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate heavy machinery safely and perform basic maintenance checks. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order picking, packing, shipping & receiving tasks. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly; prior experience with heavy lifting is essential. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Experience working with warehouse management tools like RF scanners is highly desirable.
