Job Description
Epicor/Prophet 21 ERP experience a PLUS
- Assumes responsibility for picking, packing and shipping customer orders via UPS and FEDEX, etc.
- Pulls product from inventory for customer orders and verifies count and part number. Verification is required by two additional warehouse personnel before merchandise can be shipped.
- Verifies whether merchandise is classified hazardous.
- Packs orders for shipment using approved packaging materials.
- Verifies that proper product, quality certifications, material safety data sheets, warning and identification labels are provided with shipment.
- Completes hazardous material manifest reports for the motor carriers.
- Runs each package through the "clippership" small package manifest shipping system to prepare packages for pick-up.
- Provides, at time of pickup, a manifest report for each carrier detailing the number and type of packages they are picking up.
- Responsible for continuous improvement of all materials processes.
- Assumes responsibility for picking, packing and shipping customer orders via LTL common carrier.
