Job Description

Epicor/Prophet 21 ERP experience a PLUS
  • Assumes responsibility for picking, packing and shipping customer orders via UPS and FEDEX, etc.
  • Pulls product from inventory for customer orders and verifies count and part number. Verification is required by two additional warehouse personnel before merchandise can be shipped.
  • Verifies whether merchandise is classified hazardous.
  • Packs orders for shipment using approved packaging materials.
  • Verifies that proper product, quality certifications, material safety data sheets, warning and identification labels are provided with shipment.
  • Completes hazardous material manifest reports for the motor carriers.
  • Runs each package through the "clippership" small package manifest shipping system to prepare packages for pick-up.
  • Provides, at time of pickup, a manifest report for each carrier detailing the number and type of packages they are picking up.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of all materials processes.
  • Assumes responsibility for picking, packing and shipping customer orders via LTL common carrier.
Verifies whether merchandise is classified hazardous. Packs and ships all hazardous material according to HM181 regulations governing shipment of hazardous materials. Verifies that proper bill of lading, product and or quality certifications, material safety data sheets, warning and identification labels are provided with shipment. Packs orders for shipment using customary and approved packaging materials. Provides common carrier with bill of lading for signature. Upon signing, merchandise is loaded and shipped. Responsible for continuous improvement of all materials processes. Performs other duties related to maintenance, safety or good housekeeping, including clean-up and custodial work.
