Job Description
Our client is looking for Material Handlers in Chillicothe, OH! This is a 3-month contract opportunity offering a starting pay rate of $16 an hour.
Job Summary Job SummaryFor the material handler position, the employee will operate either a forklift or a tugger.
Loading pallets, cardboard, and plastics onto the carts and offloading them at the recycling area.
Collecting and loading pallets into the pallet trailer.
Connecting to hoppers and transporting materials to the appropriate collection areas.
Operating and maintaining the trash compactor.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Completion of a Cisive background check and drug screen prior to starting is mandatory. A "contingent start" may be approved if needed.
Forklift/tugger experience is preferred.
Multitasking abilities.
Time management skills.
Motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity is required.
Physical effort in handling objects weighing less than 50 pounds is frequent.
Activities may include pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
The job is typically performed in a material recycling facility.
The environment may vary in temperature and may involve exposure to dirt, odors, and noise throughout the workday. Apply Today!! #zr#IND1

Pulling collection carts to various outside areas.Loading pallets, cardboard, and plastics onto the carts and offloading them at the recycling area.
Collecting and loading pallets into the pallet trailer.
Tugger Operator Responsibilities:
Maintaining trash and recycling collected in the main plant.Connecting to hoppers and transporting materials to the appropriate collection areas.
Operating and maintaining the trash compactor.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Completion of a Cisive background check and drug screen prior to starting is mandatory. A "contingent start" may be approved if needed.
Education/Experience/Skills:
High school diploma or G.E.D.Preferred zero to four years of previous experience.Forklift/tugger experience is preferred.
