Typically Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.Position Summary:
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items within a warehouse environment, often including tasks like loading/unloading trucks, operating forklifts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Raw material inventory
- Assist line technician during start-up and shut down
- Mechanical in nature, disconnect pumps, disassembling pumps
- Place tags on rolls of paper
- Move pallets of paper rolls to designated areas
- Print out Reel Data report for the day and place in box
- Operate compactor
- Move materials and equipment back and forth from dock to lab areas
- Keep materials & equipment storage organized. Ensure equipment and materials are properly separate checked daily
- Check inventory weekly and provide inventory sheet to administrator.
- Apply CISPRO labels to flammable materials as received
- Stretch wrap rolls
- General lab maintenance, including using pressure washers and running floor scrubbers
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Proficiencies:
- Ability to stand, bend, and be on their feet 10 hours each day
- Ability to lift 40lbs; climb up and down industrial stairs safely
- Pallet jack trained/certified, no fork lift training required
- Proficiency in MS Office and possess ability to learn any new software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented and possess a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent analytical and time management skills for success in a fast-paced environment
- Absenteeism of 1% or less is expected
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.
