Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter / General Laborer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production and finishing of industrial, commercial, and residential components, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will be energetic, safety-conscious, and eager to develop skills in industrial painting, fabrication, and materials handling. This paid position provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and precision are essential for success. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking using hand tools and power tools (grinding) to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Apply industrial and construction paint using airless paint spraying equipment, brushes, rollers, or other methods as required Operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery safely to move materials and finished products within the facility Assist with fabrication tasks such as cutting, welding, auto body repair, and assembly using hand tools and precision measuring instruments Handle materials efficiently by loading, unloading, sorting, and organizing supplies in the warehouse or fabrication areas Support machining processes by setting up and maintaining equipment, ensuring proper use of basic math skills for measurements and calculations Follow safety protocols diligently while working with power tools, welding equipment, and other industrial machinery to maintain a safe work environment Qualifications Prior experience with warehouse operations or manufacturing environments is preferred Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with fabrication processes, auto body repair, welding, and auto painting techniques Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, power tools, airless or conventional paint sprayers, and hand tools competently Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and safety standards in industrial settings Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus but not required Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment Opportunities for advancement are also available, our team is looking for strong leaders capable of running a crew and their own jobsite. Advancement opportunities will be offered based on work ethic and competency. During the busy season applicant must be willing to work overtime hours. Applicant must have valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and a cellphone.
Pay:
$18.00 - $35.00 per hour
