What You'll Do As a Material Handler, you may perform a variety of warehouse functions including: Picking, packing, put-away, receiving, and inventory handling Operating order pickers/cherry pickers, pallet jacks, stock chasers, carts, and other warehouse equipment Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently Building, wrapping, and securing pallets for shipment Using RF scanners and our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accurately track inventory and order movement Verifying products, quantities, and locations using RF scanning technology and pick labels Maintaining accurate inventory records and warehouse locations Following established quality, productivity, and safety standards Ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time Supporting team goals in a fast-paced distribution environment What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse experience Experience using RF scanning equipment High school diploma or GED Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Basic math and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications For candidates interested in the higher-paying Material Handler II role: Previous order picker/cherry picker and/or forklift experience in high bay environment Experience with inventory movement, put-away, replenishment, and order selection Build Your Future with Wasserstrom At Wasserstrom, we offer more than a paycheck.
