Job Description
Material Handler Basic Position Function:
Responsible for process water management, Niagara filter management, charging and discharging of chemical products in drums and totes, packaging finished product, process control and adherence to standard operating procedures, safety & environmental compliance activities, and general housekeeping duties. Conducts daily PIT inspections. Complete required training in a timely manner.Shift:
5:00 pm to 5:00 am; 2-2-3Schedule Reporting Relationships:
Production Supervisor Qualifications:
A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos. Have the ability to write simple correspondence. Have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one to supervisor or other employee. Individual must be able to function effectively within a work team environment, possess good communication skills (written and verbal), and possess good computer skills. Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Responsibilities:
Operates forklift or uses handtruck to move, convey, or hoist raw materials to production area for processing. Conduct daily PIT inspections. Operates some process equipment and computer control systems Changes Niagara filters for Production Charging and discharging of chemical products Packing finished products Process water management Keeps process areas clean and free of debris Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines Complete yearly required training in a timely manner Other duties may be assigned.Experience Requirements:
