Warehouse Associate - Picker/Packer/Material Handler

Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate, where your energy and attention to detail will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating powered equipment, and ensuring smooth warehouse distribution processes. Your proactive approach will support order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and materials handling, all while maintaining a safe and organized environment. Responsibilities Safely operate powered equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately. Perform stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving tasks with precision to ensure timely order fulfillment. Conduct regular inventory control audits to maintain accurate stock counts and identify discrepancies promptly. Assist in materials handling activities such as load & unload operations, heavy lifting, and basic maintenance of equipment. Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing storage areas and ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with supervisors to optimize workflow processes and improve overall efficiency. Report quality discrepancies to management All other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED may be required. Strong in ability to perform mental math - addition, subtraction, counting, multiplication, division. Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers preferred Ability to obtain valid certification for powered equipment operation including reach trucks, forklifts, or order pickers. Strong knowledge of inventory management principles such as inventory control, transfers, shipping preparations, and stock management. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment safely. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy in picking & packing, shipping & receiving tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 75lbs) and physical tasks consistently while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines. Manual dexterity to operate hand held RF scanner/ keyboard data entry.

Pay:

$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
