•Friday Temp to Direct Job Description Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists to safely move, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the manufacturing facility. Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure forklifts, cranes, and hoists are operating safely and efficiently. Stage, organize, and deliver material kits to welders and fitters according to production schedules and work orders. Verify material kits, part numbers, job numbers, and bills of materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records and material identification. Support shipping and receiving operations, including unloading trucks, packaging, skidding, labeling, and preparing materials for shipment. Qualifications Experience operating forklifts in manufacturing, warehouse, and industrial environments to safely transport and organize materials. Skilled in operating overhead cranes and hoists to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures, proper material handling techniques, and safe equipment operation. Ability to conduct daily equipment inspections, identify safety hazards, and report mechanical or operational concerns. Experience loading, unloading, staging, and organizing materials to support production and warehouse operations. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and performing tasks that require prolonged standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movement.
