Warehouse Janitorial Associate

Pay:

From $16.00 per hour Job description: Job Overview As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, organizing inventory, and supporting various facility maintenance tasks. You'll be an essential part of our team, helping to create an efficient and safe environment for everyone. What you'll do: Maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse by performing regular cleaning and janitorial tasks, ie: clean and wipe down toilets, stalls, sinks, doors, hand dryers, and mirrors. Remove trash. Mop and sweep floors. Break down empty boxes. Remove plastic wrap from pallets that are picked up. Wipe down guardrails as needed. Execute floor care duties, including buffing and polishing surfaces to ensure a pristine working environment. Assist in commercial and industrial cleaning efforts to uphold safety and hygiene standards. Participate in facilities maintenance tasks, addressing any issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency.

Basic qualifications:

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Preferred qualifications:

Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Experience in facilities maintenance or porter services is advantageous.
