Full Job Description Job Summary:
This position's responsibilities could include locating inbound material, picking & packing material for internal and customer orders, processing outbound packages through shipping manifest stations, and kitting materials per work order instructions. All functions of this position require knowledge and ability to use bar code reading equipment and some desktop computer applications to complete transactions as required.

Unloading /
Locating:
Unload inbound traffic. Locate material within finished goods warehouse Utilize hand truck, forklift, and/or Drexel as required. Utilize RF Bar Coding Scanners as process dictates. Ensure count accuracy when placing material in rack or bin locations. Transfer materials within Distribution Center between rack/bin locations or to kitting operations.
Picking / Consolidation
/ Packing /
Kitting:
Use RF equipment to pull material from identified bin locations and transport to the appropriate packing stations or consolidation area. Pull consolidated order by assigned LPN's for packing operators (WMS-Oracle orders only) Package customer orders, printing customer Packing Slip. Ensure 100% accuracy of customer order by item and quantity. Place customer required markings on packed cartons as necessary. Utilize hand truck, forklift, and/or Drexel as required. Ensure orders are completely released before passing package on to next station. Kit orders per Bill of Materials and work instructions if assigned to kitting operations. Complete consignment transaction requests as requested by Office Personnel.
Outbound Package Processing:
Process customer packages through appropriate shipping manifest system (ie. Clippership, UPS, Fed Ex, etc.). Ensure material is shipped via the proper carrier and method as directed and in accordance with assigned processes. Wrap palletized orders as prescribed by instruction for common carrier shipment. Load Carrier trucks as required. Utilize hand truck, forklift and/or Drexel as required.
All Disciplines:
Follow all appropriate documentation relating to the discipline of work being performed. Support all business expectations for Safety, Quality, Productivity, etc. Accurate processing of inventory transactions leading to 100% inventory accuracy and a high level of customer satisfaction. Notify Team Leaders/Supervisors whenever item accuracy, equipment, or safety problems are identified. Maintain a clean work area and merchandise material (block and face) as assigned. Keep packing stations supplied to assigned consumable levels. Keep a daily safety and status log for forklifts and electric hand trucks. Make sure each are recharged daily (as assigned). Charge RF Scanner batteries each day as required. Attend appropriate training as required. Support all areas of the business as business situations dictate.
Requirements:
H.S. graduate or equivalent Previous warehouse operation experience preferred, but not required. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Organized, detail oriented with a high commitment to excellence. MUST be a
TEAMPLAYER.
Basic to intermediate PC skills (or willingness to be trained) Forklift / Drexel license preferred.(or willingness to be trained) Able to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis. Able to work in high locations (up to 18' above ground) Able to maintain a high physical energy level (walking, pulling, lifting, moving) on a consistent basis.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
