Job Description
Join our team as a Warehouse Associate in our Maumee, Ohio facility! We're looking for someone reliable and detail-focused to support key warehouse functions—including receiving, inventory management, order picking, shipping, and maintaining 5S standards. You'll play an important role in keeping materials moving safely and accurately each day.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders and delivery documentation Organize and store inventory in designated locations to ensure easy accessibility and proper stock rotation Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using manual logs or inventory management software Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions Coordinate with production and procurement teams to forecast material requirements and prevent stockouts or overstock situations Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the handling and storage of materials Prepare and process stock issue requests and returns in a timely manner Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and continuous improvement initiativesMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Basic experience in inventory management or stock keeping, preferably in a manufacturing setting Familiarity with inventory control procedures and warehouse operations Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks Basic computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management software or spreadsheetsPreferred Qualifications:
Certification in forklift operation or warehouse safety training Experience with ERP systems or advanced inventory management software Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment We're an equal opportunity employer.
