Position Summary The Material Support Specialist I will ship, receive, store, and track inventory at the Distribution Center. Ensure parts are handled in accordance with Company and Federal standards.

What You'll do as a Material Support Specialist I Unload trucks and deliver inventory to stock. Parts must be physically moved and entered into ORACLE system through receiving transaction. Prepare transaction for sales order and gather necessary inventory for shipment. Submit transaction into ORACLE system. Pick material for work orders, according to printed picklists. Perform ORACLE transaction to issue material including any adjustments. Stock completed sub-assemblies and accepted purchased parts. Pack any material shipped from the Distribution Center and complete shipping authority log using appropriate procedures. Maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts. Assist Team Leader or Supervisor in researching discrepancies in inventory data. Ensure material movement is shipped, received, and stored according to Company and Federal standards. If material is not in conformance, reject part and complete NCR. Other duties as assigned.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed Required:
High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 years of shipping & receiving or warehouse experience. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, safety warning labels, and machine instruction manuals.
Preferred:
Performs necessary quality and inventory control data gathering and input in either written or electronic formats. Ability to work with minimal supervision and have basic computer skills. Forklift experience is considered a plus.
Other:
Basic math and writing skills. May be expected to move, carry, and lift approximately 30 pounds. May be expected to climb heights of approximately 15 feet and stand for long periods of time. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
