This energetic position combines the excitement of route driving with hands-on warehouse tasks, offering a fulfilling opportunity to stay active and engaged. You'll be responsible for delivering goods using commercial vehicles, managing warehouse operations, and providing exceptional customer service throughout your day. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of goods Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Assist with warehouse organization, including moving inventory, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean workspace Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting items, completing paperwork, and obtaining customer signatures when necessary Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates or delivery issues Ensure all safety protocols are followed during loading, unloading, and driving activities to prevent accidents or damage Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role, with familiarity operating box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Previous warehouse experience including heavy lifting, moving inventory, or operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items regularly throughout the shift Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety procedures Comfortable working independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment This energetic position offers the chance to develop your driving skills while gaining valuable warehouse experience.
