Position Title:
Warehouse Associate FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt Position Summary Extera is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory handling activities. This position assists with maintaining an organized warehouse environment and supports operational needs across the facility. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and inventory. Pick, pack, prepare, and stage customer orders for shipment. Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment. Maintain accurate inventory locations and assist with inventory control activities. Operate forklifts, power tools, and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Support warehouse, leasing, recycling, and other operational activities as assigned. Communicate inventory, equipment, or operational issues to management in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or
GED. 1-2
years of warehouse, manufacturing, or related experience preferred. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic computer skills preferred. Regular and reliable attendance. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to equipment, noise, and varying temperatures. Requires standing, walking, bending, and frequent movement throughout the shift. Must be able to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance or mechanical equipment. Requires operation of forklifts, power tools, and other warehouse equipment.
