Job Description

The Utility assists the Shift Supervisor in all capacities and to prepare the press area for production, (including setup and teardown of Dryers, Mixers, and Grinders), maintain production, and move product where necessary. Hours for this position are Monday -
Friday Bonuses:
Incentive bonus: $1 - $1.50, depending on performance Weekly attendance bonus: $1/hour Monthly attendance bonus: $80 Responsibilities Check floor condition at start/end of shift to ensure it's functional and organized, including materials are stocked and finished goods are put away per proper procedures Ensure that resins are present to support all running and upcoming jobs, including proper preparation for concentrates, additives, drying, or other requirements as specified by the job Notify Shift Supervisor immediately if any material shortages are found Maintain all materials (cartons, totes, foam, inserts, fixtures, parts for assembly, etc.) needed by each job Ensure all material handling equipment is operating properly (loaders, blenders, dryers, etc.) and hoppers, driers, and grinders are properly cleaned and marked Ensure that all resins, regrinds, and blends are properly marked and tags are present and filled out per the BOM Managing job set up and change overs Monitor scrap levels at the locations to ensure regrind is being properly handled and report high scrap levels to the Shift Supervisor Support any required scanning when moving materials Record data pertaining to job progress on production reports Ensure that all press areas and aisle ways are swept and cleaned during each shift Assist with automatic presses that are assigned to the Lead Team if directed Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition according to company standards, including indoor and outdoor storage areas Routine cleaning of building and grounds including taking out trash and purge. Make minor maintenance repairs or upkeep. Report any safety issues in their work area to the Shift Supervisor immediately. Other duties and secondary functions as assigned. Job Requirements Stand for long periods Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch Frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds Forklift certification Prior experience as Machine Operator at Moore Industries preferred
