Warehouse Worker $23-25.50! Job Description The warehouse worker plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate verification of part mark stamps and quantities with receipt and shipping paperwork. This individual will electronically process transactions using WMS and stage items on designated carts or racks. Packaging parts according to Material Handling Guidelines, kitting requirements, and kit boxes is essential. Adherence to 5S methodology within personal work areas and responsibility zones, as well as following all safety guidance and principles, is mandatory. This role requires the ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Responsibilities Verify part mark stamp and quantity with receipt/shipping paperwork. Process transactions electronically using WMS. Stage parts on designated carts or racks. Package parts following Material Handling Guidelines and kitting requirements. Maintain 5S standards in work areas. Adhere to safety guidance and principles. Essential Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 0-2 years of experience; warehouse experience preferred. Good interpersonal skills. Assertive communication skills with delegation ability. Problem-solving skills related to order status. Ability to multitask in stressful and fast-paced environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift and reach truck operation. RF (bar-code scan) device usage. Leadership experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment The warehouse offers AM/PM shifts with four different options: Sunday to Tuesday, 6 AM to 6 PM, and Wednesday to Saturday, 6 AM to 6 PM. Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, picking, inventory management, and operating pallet jacks. The environment is fast-paced, requiring adaptability and adherence to safety and efficiency standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
