Full-Time General Cleaner with EMS in New Albany, OH 43054

Job Summary Executive Management Services (EMS) is seeking a dedicated and energetic General Cleaner with experience to join our team in New Albany, OH 43054. This vital role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities by performing comprehensive cleaning and custodial duties. Monday - Friday 7:00am - 2:30pm $15.00/hour Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained Assist with specialized cleaning projects including industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance as needed Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and other surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance Follow safety protocols related to EMS procedures during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure continuous availability of essentials Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and use of cleaning machinery Experience with EMS protocols or environmental management systems is highly desirable Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, extractors, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively Basic understanding of facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or painting is a plus Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating clean, safe spaces that make a positive impact every day!
