Performs a variety of warehousing duties, which requires an understanding of the Company's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials against receiving and shipping documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing material to prescribed storage locations by proper methods to protect material and employee safety; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examine stored materials and reporting deterioration and damages; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. May operate various equipment to stage, locate or process material for shipment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately locate and identify stock for storage and retrieval using scanner when appropriate.
- Safely operate related machinery and equipment.
- Properly identify, scan and process paperwork necessary for material handling.
- Correctly load and unload trucks and verify load with delivery tickets and scanner.
- Properly tag, band, and package material for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Always be helpful and courteous to all customers and employees.
- Perform other duties as related or assigned for the benefit of the Company.
- Good attendance is an essential function of this job.
- Previous Warehouse/Crane operator experience and a resume is required.
