Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain 5S Set a positive example in areas of attitude, attendance, and safety practices Ensure material handlers and other warehouse associates follow proper safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment Understand and assist in implementing and maintaining
ISO14001
(EMS) and
IATF16949
(QMS) standards and procedures Understand and adhere to receiving processes / procedures Maintain FIFO (First In/First Out) for all material Perform forklift safety checks and process to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Ensure forklift inspection logs are maintained and forklifts inspected at proper intervals Unload trucks using a forklift / pallet jack, ensure dock locks / chocks are secure prior to entering a truck Verify product identification (part numbers) numbers and quantities match the shipping documents. Receive and unpack shipments, check for accuracy, and correctly record the shipment. Escalate and document if a discrepancy, damage exists. Review SAP data / reports for accurate, exception monitoring, etc. Receive products electronically into SAP, print labels and properly apply them, as required while re-palletizing products for storage if required. Assist in storing raw material in assigned warehouse bins Document and report incoming damaged freight, notify the appropriate team members.
