Job Description
Job Summary The Material Handler / Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and staging materials throughout the facility to support daily operations. This role requires previous forklift experience and a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility Stage materials for production, shipping, or storage as required Move raw materials, finished goods, and scrap to designated areas Verify materials against paperwork and report discrepancies Assist with loading and unloading trucks Maintain accurate material flow to support production schedules Perform basic inspections of forklift equipment and report issues Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times Qualifications Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred or ability to certify) Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments preferred Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Reliable attendance and punctuality Work Environment Industrial/warehouse setting Exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment PPE required (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, etc.) Fast-paced, team-oriented operation
