General Laborer

I. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Use of measuring tools to verify measurements and dimensions, examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Mark or tag identification on parts per quality standards
• (If applicable) Read blue prints and record information such as the number of products tested, meter readings with dates and times of product production
• Operate equipment as needed and observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators and supervision of malfunctions
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or using hoists
• Cleaning and maintaining work spaces organization.
• Ensuring safe and clear work environment is maintained

III. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Some experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred but not required
• Attention and care required to prevent injury to others when performing work.
• Ability to work in a team environment and have a desire to assist in various duties and departments as needed
