We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious High Reach Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating high-reach forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently manage inventory, load and unload shipments, and support warehouse distribution operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, demonstrate adherence to safety standards, and be capable of handling various types of equipment including reach trucks, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks. This position plays a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse workflows, ensuring accurate order picking, and supporting overall logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate high-reach forklifts and other material handling equipment such as cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and lift trucks to move goods safely within the warehouse
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to OSHA and company safety protocols
• Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning tools for accurate inventory tracking and order picking
• Assist in inventory management by conducting cycle counts, verifying stock levels, and reconciling discrepancies
• Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing goods for dispatch or storage with proper manual handling techniques
• Follow safety standards in production environments, including heavy lifting procedures and manual handling guidelines
• Able to receive load through product number verification and check-in
• Able to load all route trucks
• Able to perform Amazon/Walmart pulling/picking and shipping
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklifts (including lift truck and Hi-Lo), cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting
• Proven experience operating a stand-up forklift
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management practices, and barcode scanning technology
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, forklift safety protocols, and materials handling standards
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to weights, measurements, and inventory counts
• Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures within a distribution environment
• Experience with manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety standards
• Warehouse experience involving order picking, load & unload operations, and heavy equipment operation is preferred Interested?
