Material Handler

Crane 1 Services is a leading provider of overhead crane inspection, maintenance, and repair services. We are committed to safety, reliability, and efficiency in every project we undertake. As a growing company, we are looking for motivated and detail-oriented professionals to join our team and help us deliver top-notch service to our customers. We are seeking a Material Handler to support our service and installation teams by efficiently managing inventory, organizing materials, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and equipment. This role plays a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly by maintaining accurate inventory, preparing shipments, and assisting with warehouse organization.

Material Handler Role & Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of parts and materials. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy. Safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and job sites as needed. Organize and store materials in designated areas for easy access and efficient retrieval. Prepare orders and stage materials for field technicians and service teams. Assist in the assembly or pre-staging of equipment and parts for installations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of heavy equipment and materials. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including packaging and labeling outgoing shipments. Support the service team with additional warehouse and logistics tasks as needed.

Material Handler Qualifications:

Experience:

3-5+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role.

Skills:

Ability to read work orders, packing lists, and technical documentation.

Certifications:

Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in warehouse or outdoor environments.

Technology:

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order management.

Team Player:

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with service and installation teams.
