Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse distribution, order picking, and heavy equipment operation. This role is essential for ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, and materials handling processes within our facility. Candidates with warehouse experience, forklift and crane operation skills, and familiarity with warehouse management systems will excel in this position. A solid understanding of OSHA standards and mechanical knowledge is preferred to maintain a safe and productive work environment. Duties Perform order picking using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders Load and unload shipments utilizing pallet jacks, clamp trucks, forklifts, and cranes as needed Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes safely in accordance with OSHA regulations Handle materials efficiently for shipping & receiving operations, including staging and storage Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency Support warehouse distribution activities by moving materials across the facility using appropriate equipment Participate in warehouse safety training sessions to stay current on OSHA standards and best practices Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks with proper certification if applicable Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and equipment maintenance is a plus Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control Prior experience in construction or related fields involving heavy lifting and equipment operation is advantageous Knowledge of OSHA safety standards relevant to warehouse environments Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout the shift Warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills are beneficial but not required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized logistics operation while developing skills in materials handling and heavy equipment operation within a safety-conscious environment.
Pay:
$13.50 - $15.00 per hour
