Job Description
- VALID
DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
- As an
ASPHALT PLANT LABORER
, you'll be:- Operating hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
- Helping equipment operators and other skilled labor when necessary.
- Loading, unloading, or identifying building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
- Perform site activities required of green certified construction/production practices, such as implementing waste management procedures, identifying materials for reuse, or installing erosion or sedimentation control mechanisms.
- Performing site clean-up.
ASPHALT PLANT LABORER
, you'll need:- To be at least 18 years of age
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mathematical skills
- Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry.
- To demonstrate excellent safety awareness, and a willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards.
- Reliable transportation. Some nights, weekends an overtime hours are expected.
- Project a positive and cooperative attitude by maintaining courteous, professional conduct with supervisors, co-workers, customers and the public.
